Rope Access Renewables Services
Highland Access can provide a range of different rope access renewable services. Our technicians are all IRATA and GWO trained as well as manufacturer Blade repair, NDT & Coatings qualifications.
Rope access provides a cost-effective access alternative to using scaffold and other access equipment which can be both expensive and time-consuming. Rope access requires minimal set-up time and unlike other forms of Access, Rope access in most situations can be installed and de-rigged on the same day, causing less disruption. All works carried out by highland access are done by the IRATA ICOP & our safe operating procedures.

LPS Testing
We can provide Lightning protection system (LPS) testing on wind turbines throughout Scotland and the UK. The lightning protection systems must be in good condition to avoid catastrophic damage due to lightning strikes. We can test all blade receptors from the tip of the blade to the base of the turbines to ensure there are no issues. We can carry out up to 3 turbines per day depending on the number of receptors & working hours.

Blade & Tower Repair
Highland Access technicians are highly competent in complex blade repairs and general blade maintenance. Being trained to manufacturer repair standards Siemens, Vestas and Enercon. Blade & Tower Cleaning
Highland Access can provide a range of different cleaning methods for blades and towers including steam cleaning and dry ice. The cleaning of blades can improve efficiency and increase production. While keeping towers free from grease and oil will help protect the tower & the surrounding environment.
Internal Blade Inspections
